Two possible scenarios-
Corporate whore jeff- Tryes to show us how cool he is by wearing them shirts he is selling... and dammit its working

Poor jeff, he is now restricted to drawing his characters with only the shirts he is selling, otherwise jerks will pressure him into making it into merchandise, and he just cant stand it.

Hooooold up. In the latest Wigu, Sheriff Pony's mouth is closed for a panel. That is the first time I can remember seeing that! I am amazed!
I know a guy who looks like that named Carlos, and he doesn't trust me.
Sheriff Pony's mouth is always either opened or closed.
