Revenge of the Catcoon

I couldn't believe it last night when I saw Catcoon outside here. It was obviously a different Catcoon but it totally freaked me out.

This weekend we are doing signs for Comic-Con booth (#1434 if you're keeping track)! I must thank Rich for being such a totally benevolent host during my transition period, and putting up with me when I come running in at 1am hollering about Catcoon. Go Rich!

Squalor

Jeez, this been one of the busiest weeks of my life! It's not even been a week since I left Oklahoma and I already feel like I've been away for a month.

The pallets of merchandise are on their way to San Diego Comic-Con and now it's down to some hard-core comics and sign making until we jet out there on the 12th.

Thanks to everyone who has submitted resumes and applications to TopatoCo. We are very close to making a decision.

Actual Work

No time for drawing Overcompensating today as TopatoCo and Dumbrella get ready for San Diego Comic Con! The truck people come tomorrow to pick up our pallets and whisk them away, so we must make sure everything is ready for them. Keep an eye on Dumbrella.com for updates, and look out for a facelift on that website in the next week or so. If you can't make it to Comic-Con we are going to try to get a live webcam feed from the booth.

The picture is of the brand new Dumbrella headquarters! It was all damp down there but we got a de-humidifier and dropped the humidity down to about 35%. OK time to get back to work. PEACE.

Job Interview

It's so hard to find good help around here. All the pallets of merchandise should be in this afternoon and I have no employees yet. Everybody here is either overqualified or dismally underqualified. Nobody is just qualified enough.

This is gonna take some thinking.

Gateway to Oblivion

Hello from Massachusetts! I got in about 1am Sunday morning and I really haven't slept since then so I'm gonna do that now.

KS and I saw the New Pornographers music band last night! There was a girl who was not Neko Case singing who sung at least as good and didn't seem to be mean like Neko Case. She sounded great, the band sounded great!

It is nice to be here but COME ON could you be any more humid, Massachusetts? This is ridiculous.
