Pre-Flight Terrars

I don't know why, after all the times I've flown, years working in aviation, and logging literally dozens of hours in Microsoft Flight Simulator, I still get freaked out about flying. Perhaps it's because it's an affront to nature.

See you on the Best Coast! Here's what the Dumbrella booth looks like (from Andy's Sidekick 3)!

UPDATE: Looks like they have a live cam updating on my flickr every five minutes!

Say "What" One More Time

I think Weedmaster P thinks Pulp Fiction was a documentary.

My sister Mashley has turned me on to the Ditty Bops and if you so desire you can join them on their bicycle tour across America! It is a profoundly exciting concept.

I'm out to San Diego tomorrow evening via Atlanta, GA. I got a suitcase full of killer robots and 3 boxes of tshirts waiting at Jamie's summer home. I'll be at the the Dumbrella booth Friday-Sunday (#1434, pictures to come) or the Snakes on a Plane booth, which looks like this:

We Got a Meeting

So apparently I'm going to be part of a "Snakes on a Plane" roundtable discussion (not an open panel, just a small gathering) with Samuel L. Jackson, David Ellis (director), and Jules Sylvester (the snake handler) on Friday morning at Comic-Con. I am aware that I'm basically a dirty shill for a giant movie company at this point, but I do think it's rad that New Line is having fun with all this. And as you all know, I like to do things that are fun, even if they are at 10:30 in the gorram morning.

Here is story in the Edmonton Journal about cybercomixz!

Two Words

In my experience, nothing ruins a party like someone suddenly speaking Latin in reverse.

I got a little swimming done this weekend while cunningly avoiding the screaming degenerates across the river. I also got the new car stereo I'd been saving up for that I can plug my iPod into! I just hope I don't crash because now there are so many new things to fiddle with, but if I do hopefully an Au Revoir Simone song will be playing at the time so the mangled carnage will have a disturbingly pretty soundtrack.
